Winner’s Farm Walk

Winner of the 2017 BGS Grassland Farmer and All Wales Grassland Champion – Rhys James opens his farm to show how he has become an award-winning grassland business.

Technical points of interest include: calf rearing, cow type and breeding policy, grassland management, nutrient management and farm infrastructure.

Royal Welsh Show

23 – 26 July 2018
Llanelwedd, Builth Wells, Powys LD2 3SY

The pinnacle event in the British agricultural calendar, the Royal Welsh Show, will be held on 23 – 26 July 2018 at the showground in Llanelwedd.

Along with an exciting four-days of livestock competitions, with entries travelling from far and wide to compete, the show has something to interest everyone through its wide range of activities including forestry, horticulture, crafts, countryside sports, shopping, food and drink and a 12-hour programme each day of exciting entertainment, attractions and displays. Learn more »


The Anglesey Show

14 – 15 August 2018
The Showground, Gwalchmai, Anglesey, LL65 4RW

The Anglesey Show is a two-day event, which will take place on August 14th and 15th of this year.

The Show is held on the Anglesey Showground, the 160 acre of the Anglesey Agricultural Society. The Showground is located in the center of Anglesey. With convenient access from the main road by hand along with the Holyhead port.

The Anglesey Show attracts around 60,000 visitors annually. With wonderful livestock, the Anglesey Show has plenty to offer you to enjoy: including a shopping and exhibition pavilion, horse events, craft exhibitions, many vegetable and home-grown exhibitions and much more. The Shetland horses will have more than 1,000 horse riding horses. With many different breeds of sheep, together with cattle classes. There will be pigs and goats, poultry and rabbits. Gardeners will be happy with the product tent with its floral, cooking, content and craft exhibitions. There will be an opportunity to go around 342 trade stalls and an opportunity to see Camels in the main ground.
